Hackintosh: ssdtPRGen.sh – Unknown Processor Model

We were recently experimenting with converting our Lenovo Y50-70 to a Hackintosh machine, we were in the process of setting up Mac OS  Sierra when we ran into this error while configuring the states of the processor:

Error: Unknown Processor Model

The processor we had, i7 4720HQ, was not in the cfg file when we fetched it from Github.

The fix is pretty simple, head over this Link, click RAW and copy all the text and paste it into the Haswell.cfg located at /Users/USERNAME/Library/ssdtPRGen/Data. Make sure you empty the existing file before pasting the update config.

Run the ssdtPRgen again and all should be well
